Byron D. Knight, a 1976 graduate of The John Marshall Law School, is a seasoned insurance defense litigator, having extensive experience as lead counsel in jury trials. His litigation experience includes the defense of products liability, municipal liability, automobile liability, Structural Work Act and construction injury claims, defamation, premises liability, property loss, and civil rights. He has tried numerous cases involving claims for substantial damages resulting from death, brain damage, neurological and psychological injury, and other serious injuries, in addition to multi-million-dollar property losses. Mr. Knight practices before the Illinois and Indiana Appellate Courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. Knight is licensed to practice before the state bars of Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Wisconsin State Bar Association.
