is a 1978 graduate of DePaul University School of Law. A superior litigator, Ms. Knight has extensive experience in jury trials as lead counsel. Her trial experience includes claims related to sexual harassment, employers' liability, Americans with Disabilities Act, premises liability, products liability, automobile liability, homeowners' liability, legal malpractice defense, and other areas of tort defense. Ms. Knight's most accomplished trial achievements have been in the complex areas of federal civil rights and constitutional law, as well as in the defense of road design and construction cases involving catastrophic damages resulting from death, quadriplegia, brain damage, and psychological injuries. Since joining the firm in 1984, Ms. Knight has tried numerous cases in the federal courts and state courts of Illinois and Indiana. An accomplished appellate advocate, she authors and argues appeals and supervises the firm's appellate practice at the state and federal level. Ms. Knight is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, and The Defense Research Institute.
